Donut Hole Bakery and Cafe

We were on a road trip and stopped in Destin for a couple days. I found this place, searching for breakfast spots. We ended up eating here both mornings for our breakfast. The first morning we got the crab cake benedict and the chicken fried steak, and biscuits with sausage gravy. All of it was so good. The gravy was peppery and so yummy. Their homemade honey mustard is delicious! The second morning we got regular eggs benedict and cinnamon raisin french toast with praline sauce. This place is fantastic. Casual, beach town vibes. The service is excellent. The first morning, we had Daniela. The second morning, we had Thanya serving us. Both of them were kind and knowledgeable. Really great service from both girls. Thank you for making our stay in Destin even better. I wish I lived closer so I could come here all the time.

This place is worth the hype. Portions are BIG! And food is really good. We had the “diet” meal which is clearly not for anyone on a diet. Two biscuits with sausage, eggs and gravy and a side of hash browns definitely wrecked any sort of “diet” I was on. We also had the chicken fried steak and eggs with cheese grits and tomato’s. And of course you can’t leave without couple (or 12) donuts!

We recently visited and were really impressed. The donuts were absolutely delicious—perfectly soft, sweet, and fresh. There’s a great variety to choose from, and every flavor we tried was spot-on. You can tell they really put care into making their food.When you walk in, you’ll stand to the left to wait for a table to clear up and then one of the waitresses will come to greet & seat you. Went around 11am and probably waited around 15 - 20mins for table. If you want to order just donuts you can walk in and order at the counter. But keep in mind, depending on the season they could either be really busy or pretty steady. It all depends on when you go.What made our visit stand out the most was Thanya. She was incredible—so kind, attentive, and just a joy to interact with. Her warmth and hospitality made our experience special, and honestly, she’s the reason we’ll be coming back.If you’re in the area, this place is definitely worth stopping by. Awesome breakfast and even better desserts! I don't think there's ever a morning without a little bit of a wait line but there is a reason as to why this place is so popular! The only negative I can come up with is that I didn't order enough to have extra for lunch as well! At least I got a pie for tonight as a consolation prize.

OH MY GOODNESS what a fun and cute place. I came for the donuts of course. It is difficult to find good donuts where I am in Texas. These are in point! I got 2 blueberry cake, 1 maple, and 1 cinnamon sugar. The maple and cinnamon sugar are my favorite!

One of my favorite spots for breakfast! The restaurant was very clean and service was excellent. The biscuits were fresh made, and the sausage gravy was flavorful and very good. The pastry selection made it very hard to choose - everything looked fantastic. From donuts to pastries and key lime pie, I can't wait to go back!

We overheard an employee at The Gulf tell another table to go here if you like key lime pie, so we immediately went. It did not disappoint, and I believe that's the best pie crust I've tasted in my lifetime.

Everything from entering, to ordering to checking out is wonderful. Lots of choices for a meal or just maybe a piece of desert and a cup of coffee. Their donuts are fantastic. I ordered a BLT sandwich and coleslaw, husband had a cheeseburger and fries. I could only eat half my sandwich and coleslaw. Took rest back to condo.
